Description
Design and drawing of details in 3D form for development of matrices and press-forms from plastics and aluminium for serial production
Design and drawing of details in 3D form for subsequent development of injection moulds and press-forms from plastics and aluminium for serial production
Basic requirements
Inspection of the gradients: the model of the plastic detail, intended for production by mouldingm has to be with correctly defined technological gradients (normally from 0.5 to 3 degrees) towards the direction of opening as the detail to be put out of the instument with no problems. Importance of the shrinkage upon cooling of the detail: in case of cooling the plastic units change theirdimensions (they shrink). Ths shrinkage is different for the different materials, foms and conditions of moulding and that's why have to apply different coefficient of shrinkage.
Determination of parting lines
These are surfaces (ledges in the finished article), on which contact the elements, which make the forms. They are used for dividing the surfaces, which belong to the different semi-forms. After the model is correctly formed with the required gradients and the coefficient of shrinkage is taken into account, there can be created also the parting lines and through them- the mould joints=
Mould joints
These are joints, forming a tape, perpendicular to the direction of taking out the article and starting from the mould joint. By their help is made the separation of the elements forming their shape. The created area/surface goes out of the parting line in direction, perpendicular to the direction of opening of the instrument.
